Originally designed with a high quality standard by Aerazur (Zodiac), our gasometers offer the best life expectancy. Our gasometers are manufactured from high resistance coated fabric.

These materials are characterized by their mechanical resistance, their impermeability to gas and water vapor, their excellent life span with respect to ultraviolet light, their good resistance to ozone and usual corrosive chemical agents.

Gasometers are well adapted for storing common gases such as: hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen, carbon dioxide, dry ammonia, nitrous oxide and gaseous aliphatic carbides.

Contacts with liquid traces such as aqueous solutions of NaCl, CaCl2, or antifreezes polyalcools such as glycol ethylene cause no inconvenience.

Our range consists of 3 models of gasholders:

  • Gasometer without ballast type RLO
  • Gasometer light ballast type RLN

 

The overpressure in the buffer volume is maintained at a very low value by a ballast that has only a few hundred kilograms weight (this is insufficient to ensure distribution). The ballast ensures a suitable folding of the envelope; it is connected to a level indicator enabling the travel’s end controls and safety.

  • Gasometer heavy ballast type RLC

 

The overpressure in the buffer volume is maintained by a ballast of hundred kilograms weight. This is sufficient to ensure distribution.

Advantages minimum cost of installation

 

Inconvenients Requires installation of a gas pressure booster.

In case of draughts –the pocket can be in movement.

 

Gasometer light ballast type RLN

 

Advantages Gasholder support gantry and ballast are inexpensive. – Possibility of beam suspended installation.

Good accuracy of measuring  above all at the end of the filling operation

Inconvenients Requires installation of a gas pressure booster.

Heavy ballast required with gasometers of type RLC

 

Advantages : No booster-Minimum attention and maintenance

 

Disadvantages : expensive installation (gate with reinforced support and heavy ballast)

 

Limits – better not to assemble above 120 m3
